About Yoga Nidra:

The Sanskrit word 'yoga' translates to union or perfect awareness, while 'nidra' means sleep. Through guided instructions, you will enter a state of deep relaxation with conscious awareness, creating a unique and powerful state of consciousness that has numerous benefits for daily life. Throughout the practice, you maintain control over your own experience.

Tracks:

Track 01: Gentle Relaxation (10:50) - FREE!
This quick and effective practice provides gentle relaxation and serves as an instant reset. It includes a preparation phase, a bodyscan, and externalisation. Suitable for beginners, children, and individuals with special needs. Whether you are a beginner looking for a short but effective practice, or someone who is stressed and seeking quick relaxation, this track is perfect for you – it can even be done while sitting up!

Track 02: Deep Relaxation (24:35) - In-app purchase required
This longer practice safely takes you through eight stages to achieve a state of deep relaxation. It is beginner-friendly and suitable for children and those with special needs. If you desire a thorough reset or wish to experience the full benefits regularly, this track is recommended. It is also ideal if you want to develop the habit of relaxation or gradually work your way towards longer and more profound experiences of Yoga Nidra with full awareness. To build your practice, start with Track 1 and gradually incorporate Track 2 at different times throughout the day.

Track 03: Deep Healing and Energising (31:28) - In-app purchase required
The longest track, this practice guides you safely through eight traditional stages towards a state of deep healing and energizing. It incorporates the visualization of the seed syllables of the Sanskrit alphabet at the chakras – the psychic-energetic centers of the body. This represents an authentic tantric practice known as mātṛkā nyāsa, from which the contemporary nidra practice of rotating consciousness is derived. Recommended for those who have practiced Tracks 1 and 2, this track allows you to explore the deeper layers of your mind and engage in spiritual work.

Contraindications:
<ul>
 <li>Exercise caution if you are dealing with severe clinical depression or other challenging mental health conditions. However, Yoga Nidra may help alleviate mild conditions.</li>
 <li>Do not use this app while driving or operating machinery, as it may induce sleepiness.</li>
